I don't have a Band 4 compatible phone. Would my phone access LTE through another Band?

In theory the phone should attach in LTE considering that Fizz works with B4 (1700/2100 AWS 1) and B17 (700 bc). Maybe you will not have the same performance in comparison with a phone that support both bands, because you will not be able to use carrier aggregation.7

Ideally your phone should have band 4 (1700/2100 MHz) for LTE data
and HSPA 850 MHz or 1900 MHz frequencies for calls/texting.
With other bands (such as B7, B12, B17), your access to Fizz LTE network will be limited.

It depends on the area where you're in. For example, in Ottawa, I'm usually almost always connected to band 4. Personally, I would buy one that has band 4, as that's pretty much the bare minimum on any network for a decent experience.6
