How is the signal and LTE speed outside of QC?

It's rogers signal in Toronto and at&t in new York. Reliable but speed is no more than 20m.12

For me it was basically the same as what I get on the Fizz network inside Quebec. I don't know if there is any sort of throttling, though, because I was testing it from a fairly poor signal area (just like I am at home) so I would get around 5 Mbps down and poor upload at about 1 Mbps. But my signal was unreliable there - just as it was with Koodo, and Fido was even worse - so I expect in a strong signal area it would be a lot better. You don't only roam on Rogers, by the way. I think Rogers is preferred, but you will roam on whichever network gives you the best signal at the moment. Fizz has all the big 3 as partners. Again, in my case it would have been Bell, because that's the only tower near where I was staying so it was the only option.5

LTE is very reliable in Ontario - Toronto, Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph. Be aware that if you use voicemail people will not be able to leave messages if you don't answer your phone.12

This is a very tricky and wide question!
LTE signal is carried trough out many providers around the country. In populated areas, all major providers have their own towers. Bell, Rodgers, Telus in Canada. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile in the US.
In rural areas, there's usually only one or two of them carrying out the signal. Other carriers have to obtain permission through commercial agreement, to connect to their signal.
So while using a Fizz activated phone, the quality of the signal and data speed you will get outside Fizz subscription zone, depends mainly on the commercial agreement Fizz manage to get with other providers.Chizz )

@Cristinel R.
Voicemail should be working no matter where you are.If not, check all call forwarding settings to make sure it's properly set and activated to forward calls to the voicemail server 1 514 647 0999.
If it still doesn't work, have Fizz to fix the issue.

Fizz members have access to extended coverage with Telus, Rogers, and Bell towers so you should be able to get reliable coverage wherever you go.9

You are right James, but that doesn't mean Fizz has priority of service and at their full extent...

I"m in Ottawa, the signal seems weak inside my house/buildings. when i recieve a call from my home, the 4G switches to 3G, but i still receive a call even though i had low signal strength under 4G.

50-80mbps in Ottawa. Usable in the US (didn't do a speed test though).0
