You should get 250 MB regardless of what you subscribe for, but you can't be gifted data without having an official data plan.8

Yes you can add the 1gb option for data later on which would come into effect for your following billing cycle but bare in mind that if you decide to get data after October 16th, it'll be considered as changing your plan and thus the stabilization prices won't apply to you anymore. You would then have to be paying the regular prices.
As for data add-ons, this wouldn't be considered as changing your plan but the cheapest option you have is 500mb for $8, which is very expensive compared to just getting 1gb with your plan. So I would suggest to just get the 1gb option no later than the 16th. And make sure to use a referral code when you activate your Sim for a $25 discount on your bill, if you need a code you can use this one if you so wsh: YA4ZW

As you reach different fizz levels you unlock different upgrades. At level one you get 250MB free. Once you reach level two (which will happen quite quickly, you will unlock 500MB). Until you reach level three you will only be able to use one of these upgrades at a time. You can see the full list of upgrades here:

If you think 250 MB of data per month is sufficent, then you don't need to have data in your plan. But this also means you cannot participate in data gifting.
The minimum data you need to subscribe in your plan is 1 GB. It is not expensive.

Your options:
1. Apply Level 1 UPGRADE 250mb/mth @ $0 now, start using next mth, valid for 91 days.
2. We used to get Welcome PERK of 500mb, check your account. Immediate use, valid till end of next mth.
3. Your monthly plan - add 1GB for $6 or 2GB for $8, valid for 91 days. OR
4. Buy add on $8/500mb or $12/1gb, valid till end of next mth, i.e. max 60/61 days.

Thank you All for your Answers, really appreciate it, I'll include Data in my subscription, one Last thing i'm debating is if i should have Canada + US plan, I Call US maybe 12 times a Year, does it worth to have US + Canada or should i go with US addons when need be?4

regarding your last question, I do think it would be worth it for you to get the Canada+USA plan if you travel to the States at least once a month and continue calling and texting US numbers.4

Thank you for your response, as i Mentioned i Call US 12 to 15 times a year, but i do a lot more texting. I chose Canada + Data + Texting. I should be fine.4

A big plus of the Canada/US plan is that you can use your plan services when you visit USA.
If you plan to your serivces only in Canada and make only a few calls to USA, then going with Canada coverage makes perfect sense. You can also use VOIP service Apps to make calls to USA.
