If you have activate the sim with a different number, you need to unsubscribe the new number and reuse the same SIM to associate to the previous number6

Hey Mike, thank you for answering! I haven't, in fact, activated the SIM card at all. As soon as I realized my number wasn't on the available list I canceled the action. Therefore, I can't deactivate it.
I thought about activating it first, but can I deactivate as soon as I activate? Will it deactivate instantly or will the number still be active until the end of the payment cycle, do you know? Thank you!6 -
I'd prefer if there was a way to delete the action altogether. It seems like it saved up to the point where I discontinued, if I go to my Mobile page it prompts me to continue where I left off. I'm assuming that's why the activation code remains blocked.7

Since you lost your SIM card, you should really get it blocked first so if someone finds it, they won't be able to use it. See this page: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/lost-stolen-mobile
So if I understand correctly, you started activating the SIM. Once this starts, your activation code is "locked" until it the action is completed. You will need to contact support for them to "unlock" the activation code. The last time I had to do this, it took about 24 hours.
Once your activation code is unlocked, you need to go to "My plans" -> "Manage plan" -> "Change SIM card" -> "Activate your SIM card". This will keep your current number, but associate it with the new SIM card.

I activated my plan with a SIM card from a previous user who canceled his fizz plan. I had the same error message than you. Only Fizz support could fix the problem. It took 24 hrs or so.10
