If you already activate your SIM, you should received the confirmation.
Did you try to login to your account? Did you transfert the number, this can take couples of hours.6 -

Yes I have logged onto my account via Fizz web page. It says activation is still pending (I have activated it), but when I retry it with my activation code it says it is already registered to another number.
About the number transfer, right now this sim card account is an account for someone else in our home and I'm not transferring my number from my other provider.
I have tried sending out SMS from the phone with the Fizz SIM card and that does not appear to work.
I am able to receive SMS text from my other working phone which is with another provider.
Have posted question via Facebook messenger and they have escalated the ticket for now (still waiting).4 -
Ask Fizz chat though facebook messenger. , attach this screen and see.4
