Voice mail alert, often doesn't work, is this happening to others?

On my phone Iphone 7 and my GF phone Iphone SE, we often have a voice mail but Fizz doesn't notify us of the Voice Message. We have to go in the mailbox and then it says you have one new Voice Message.
Happens to my GF almost every day. Has happened to me on at least 3 occasions.
Is this a normal Bug???

    Haven't had any issues on my phone. Might be an issue with Iphone as mentioned before.

    Android visual voicemail notification icon doesn’t work either. I receive an sms saying that I have a new voicemail instead
