I can't connect to mobile data

Hi! I got my new sim card yesterday and went through the sim installation. I can't connect to the mobile data even though my phone shows all 4 bars of connection. I also can't seem to receive the 2 messages Fizz seems to send to users for them to re-configure the sms and data info. help please!

If the apn is not configured automatically you must do manually

Yes I did restart my phone and yes I went through the whole manual setting procedure for the APN.3

What phone model are you using? Did you make sure it’s compatible with Fizz’s network?3

Make sure your phone can support these frequencies .
Calls: Your device must support HSPA 850 MHz or 1900 MHz frequencies
Mobile data: Your device must have dual-frequency support for 1700/2100 MHz (also called AWS or band 4)4 -
