In 2G I believe that you need GPRS and I do not think that this is supported3

@Mike, I think he's saying he has 2 Gig of data on his plan and not getting a 2G signal.
What phone do you have? You can check here to see if your phone is compatible: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices
If it is, then check out the APN settings: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn
If that all fails, you will need to contact support to help you further.

Is your phone supported by Fizz ? If yes check your APN setting for an Android or update your iPhone.1

If you have only 3G signal, your phone must support the 1700/2100 MHz frequency (also called AWS).
What phone are you using? If it's Apple, only the iPhone 5s, or more recent, are compatible with the Fizz mobile network.
Check this Fizz FAQ to make sure your mobile service is working properly.
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-make-sure-my-mobile-service-working-properly
If you haven't already done so, you need to configure the APN settings
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn
If all checks out so far, try these
- Enable airplane mode, then disable it.
- Reboot your phone- Check your Fizz account to ensure it is active.
- Contact Fizz support for additional help.

Either you phone doesn't have the right bands, or your APN settings are wrong.0
