Expecting unlimited data is too much but they are compensating with additional discount for now.
If they honor referral program during stabilization period also would be great as its there mistake for all the outages.13 -
Ok, we need to be reasonable customers as well.
Fizz is a business, a private one. So they also need to make money despite the hiccups.
Unlimited data? Perhaps for just a day. But as Ajayrrk says, Fizz provides some form of compensation and some explanation. Those of us who stay with the company decided to support it.13 -
I said that because i apply the 1st April and I have mist the outage of 27 march and didn't get the extra 2 GB but i have get the 2nd April outage! LoL and by the way it seems that we are going to get more outage!10

Some kind of compensation will be ok for me. Asking for unlimited data is too much.13

Unlimited data is too much, but they could give a bigger discount11

I would take some other 2GB for free!8

With the data consumption not working on our profile, we never know, sure they can't say that data is free until they fixx the problem... but hey, we never know. (some people might abuse free data).
.
Keep your finger crossed...

Have a nice day11 -
Hi everyone,
I am replying in this feed, since it's new (less than 24 hours old ) and I have BiiiG network problems..seems like pretty much at all times. During the 2.5 months of using FIZZ, even though my phone shows that it is connected to the network (although it shows R for roaming), Virgin Mobile customers more often than not do not reach me. And it's also true for Rogers. I, on the other hand, seem to be able to call and reach everyone.
That's A-W-F-U-L!
I am sure I'm not the only one. Is there a solution for this?7 -
Irina , you must have band4 on your cell.
I think you're using band5 when you make call's but data, sms ... needs band4.
That is what i think but maybe mistaking!7 -
The new 10% is a decent compensation for the issues, in fairness there have only been a handful of outages that lasted several hours. Expecting free unlimited data would be terrible as users would abuse it and make the network even less stable. I think the current data rates are MORE than fair, plus with rollover and gifting and upgrades you can stockpile data like crazy. People just gift their data for free if you look for it. Nothing enjoys being down, but Fizz has given us a decent price reduction on already reduced plans and think some people just expected too much6
