Free calling roaming glitch

While roaming in Turkey for transit i used the "Turk Telecom" network and was able to make calls back to Canada and internationally to the UK, even though i bought the travel data only plan.
So if you are passing through Turkey enjoy free unlimited calling

Thanks for your share! I also heard that someone's plan worked while in Caribbean and also while on a cruise ship. Service was hit & miss though, not working 100% of the time.8

It is important to know that the Travel Add-ons that we currently offer only include data. See details here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-travelling-outside-my-coverage-zone-what-are-my-roaming-options
As such, you would be breaching Fizz rules of use by making calls while roaming abroad, which would leave us no choice but to deactivate your plan. We kindly ask you to refrain from making calls while your phone is in roaming.
