My 438 (Montreal) number shows as a long distance USA number to everyone

I was assigned a 438 (Montreal) number when joining Fizz. When other Montrealers call me it says they're dialing a long distance number and when I phone them it shows up as a USA caller. Has anyone had this issue?

No this is not normal because 438 is a Montreal area code.
I have a Fizz 438 are code phone number and it does not "shown" as long distance for other Montrealers.8 -
Thank you M. That is what I thought. I am waiting to hear back from Fizz... very slow. The chat on their website seems to be down too.1

438 from 514 is not supposed to be a long distance , contact the Fizz CS.5

Thanks! I’ve now chatted with someone and apparently it’s a known issue that some people are having... hopefully it’s fixed soon!2
