Calling and Texting with Canada+USA Coverage?

Hello. I have the Canada + USA coverage, and I understand this allows me to use my data, minutes, texting, in the US and Canada. However, now that I am in the US, I cannot call or text numbers, or use my data. I get errors that my number is not formatted properly when trying to text (I didn't change them). I tried putting and removing a 1 or +1 in front of the area code, but it still does not work. I am not able to use my data either. The area I am in is covered according to the coverage map... Has anybody has this issue? How did you resolve it?

Check your APN settings4

Did you turn roaming on your phone on ?
.
If you did NOT configure APN while in Canada then you should define it now https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn
.
Did you try to manually connect to mobile network offered on your phone ?7 -

You can also try rebooting your phone.4

Hey. I restarted my phone various times, and it still does not work. My phone shows that I am on the AT&T network (not FIZZ EXT like it has in Canada, when I'm roaming). I tried automatically and manually setting my APN settings according to https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn, but that does not work either. I still cannot connect to the internet and I still get the number formatting error.3

Also, all roaming options are turned ON in my phone.2
