I m in trouble my Account lock instantly: No call, No data and No SMS . Juste because Monthly payment failed ?.
They cannot tell you few days before , or at least , allows manuel payment.
Stupid system, I have to wait 24h, to know if my new payment is pass. So, No call, No data and No SMS , Fizz you are in trouve.

Unfortunately it is really stupid and you're not alone in this situation.
I have prepaid service with another provider and they don't cut your service if there is something wrong with a payment.
This is Fizz exclusive stupidity.6 -
It is frustrating for customers that there's not "make an immediate payment" option in the account management. It's a pretty standard thing for prepaid cell phones.8

"If your credit card payment was rejected, you have until 11:59 p.m. on the first day of your next payment cycle to pay the amount due or your service may be suspended."
It's in your contract!

Imagine subscribers with only Home internet and have their service suspended.
Fizz email notification will not reach them and they can not reach Fizz with chat to have the issue resolved.6 -
No grace period , I got email warning around 12am, and my service suspended. afternoon, I call the bank , the payment has passed., but my service still down.
Fizz said "Unfortunately due to the fact that the system takes the payments automatically, you will need to wait for about 24h in order for your payment to pass again. I am really sorry for the inconvenience."4 -
They do seem to be having some problems with their billing this week. Sorry you got caught up in it.6

It's horribly sad.
People may forgive if they miss an sms here and there, but it' very hard to forgive when their service is suspended and specially when it's 100% Fizz mistake.6 -
Service is back around 4pm. To impove, Add grace period, or/and Allows manuel payment and unlock service instantly afterpay.5

My payment period starts on 19th, and Jan 19th payment was normal, but Feb 11 Fizz sent me an email said the payment was rejected! and they blocked my number and my web access right away!
I doubled checked with my bank and on my bank's website, that transaction is 20 days old and is perfectly normal. No rejection at all!
The worst part is, I tried my best chatting with Fizz on Facebook with many reps, spent many many hours, and smoked 3 times more cigarettes in past 3 days, and all they said is they can absolutely do nothing! They just wanted me to wait till someone contact me!
If no one contact me in 7 days, I guess I will lose my number, right?
So, even if you have internet, in this case, I don't know what you can do. At least, so far I have tried everything, and still blocked. I have internet at home and in office, and my work hour is flexible, and I still cannot make it. If you are in the same situation, sorry, but all I can say is: Good luck!5 -
Yes a grace period is needed. I was in same stage twice from 2 different SIM, it's a pain.
BTW, you can still receive SMS in this stage4 -
It's day 5. They have cut my line for 5 days because of their own billing system error, and still no explanation, no action. Still cannot make/receive phone calls. All their Facebook and online chat keep telling me to wait for their internal team fix it, and do nothing. There is no way to reach their internal team, not even send or forward them a message. I am going to lose my number this Sunday which I have been using for 10+ years. Fizz! What are doing!!!!???

I have nothing on my cell phone. no call, no date.
Fongo is not an option. I need to have my 10+ year old phone number work and available for family. friends, and business.
I am losing my 10+ year old number on Monday if Fizz keep doing nothing.2 -
Fizz have stupid system you have to be very suspicious with them, it is the consequence of the inexpensive service.
I am in reflection after my free period, I do not think to stay with this company especially with what you teach me today.

Maybe should you consider to fill a complaint to the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS) : https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/phone/cprstccts.htm
Or should I say... Maybe should WE all of us as customers fill a complaint on this situation that is very annoying. It's totally a non-sense.
