Is Fizz internet Fiber?

No cable from the Vidéotron Network !

Hey Angelique, I am not a current user of the Fizz Home Internet service, but I may still be able to answer this question. The Home Internet connection is most likely ran using cable as fiber optics are mainly just being released and it would cost alot more to have fiber optic cables installed. Now that's not to say that Fizz won't be running their Home Internet plans on fiber optics, but for the speeds that they are currently offering, it would honestly be pointless from a network standpoint to be using fiber optics and would end up costing a fortune. Fizz is a lower tier brand of Videotron so they don't necessarily do any network grid changes, this would all be done by Videotron if they did decide to make the change from cable to fiber!
