It's absolutely a pain. I know some Ottawa user use the Ottawa bus short code SMS to get schedule. Now this function simply disappeared.5

I agree! More and more services using SMS to get status or info. This is a necessity. A lot of app use SMS to validate and up to now not many works. Some app luckily does give an alternative option to call instead of text to validate. I hope this is a priority for Fizz to have this working.5

The latest update re: SMS from Fizz is that it is now working for most companies, and should work for the remaining ones soon.

Seemingly this appears to be a low-priority issue for Fizz as there are no updates from Fizz other than they are working on it and do use alternatives where 2fa doesn't work. Unfortunately not all services offer an alternative.
The fact this hasn't been corrected, since the start (including the beta) is concerning!5 -
This is an important feature nowadays. This should be a high priority for Fizz.7

It is a mixed experience so far. Tried to verify phone number with several companies. Some messages came through. Some did not. Guess this is still a work in progress.3

Many companies that require 2 step verification by SMS are currently working, but we are still missing a few. The staff at Fizz is working around the clock in order to fix the situation.
We understand that it's really frustrating, it's also frustrating for us. We'll fix it as soon as possible.

I cannot get sms from:
- BMO
- Uber
- Old Navy
- UPS
- RBC
- Apple
I would love to know which companies work, as so far, nothing is working....1 -
