Calling out of province with Quebec only coverage.

My girlfriend took the Quebec only coverage, thinking she could still make out of province originating in Quebec.
Now we are in Quebec near the New-Brunswick border, she can't make or receive any call.

I suggest you buy calling addon, instead of addming money in wallet.This way only phone call works. Otherwise your wallet will run out if she keep her data on.4

Quebec coverage means you can use your phone any where in Quebec and calling phone numbers in Quebec.
If you want to use your phone outside of Quebec you can buy Travel add on

You have to put $ in her wallet. 10$ should be ok for long distance and outbound call. If you change the plan, it will only be a applicable on the next billing cycle.14

I just put 5$ in her wallet and did a few tests calls, had success with a couple 1 second calls and wallet is already down to 2.71$
And most calls still cannot connect. Seems like her wallet is getting charged even on failed calls.16 -

You should have bought a $4 addon for Canada which gives you 60 minutes in Canada12

Should be able to call 0.25/minute with $5 in your wallet that should give you 20 minutes of talk time . This seems to be some sort of bug with Fizz - it should recognize you as being in QC making an out of province Canadian call. The better play is to buy an addon, or just get the Canada-wide plan.10

There is definitely some bug. She cannot even get an incoming call from my Fizz number. But calls from my other non Fizz number work.9
