Yes only if your Freedom number is a Greater Ottawa Region number only. Check with Fizz support just to be sure if your number can be ported.14

My father tried switching but it wasn't successful . He paid for the service but he wasn't able to use the service . Finally after 3 weeks they've return his money .9

Following is the complete answer:
1. Use IMEI# of your current Freedom phone, enter "*#06#" on your phone, then hit return/enter , OR
2. Copy Account# from Freedom bill, then paste in Chrome(right click paste, as Ctrl V doesn't work).
