I wouldn't have thought so, but I have read other member replies saying that they were able to do it. I wouldn't guarantee that it working right now is not a bug, but I would expect that as long ad the APNs are configured correctly and you have money in your wallet to cover the pay per use data cost it should work fine.9

His question is about SMS function in fact. If he doesn't have SMS feature, every SMS or MMS cost money to send. If he doesn't have money in wallet, he need buy SMS addon , or add money in wallet and SMS in pay as you go method.6
