Can you please update us on the Network being 3G for most people (maybe all?) since Saturday? I understand problems happen, but keeping us informed helps a lot. Thanks in advance!

I finally hear back from them and this is all they say!

I think it is going to be 3G for a while before they take it to 4G. They are working on stability issues. Lets not forget they are severly understaffed.20

If the current state of 3G was intended, for stability and troubleshooting / logging / etc, I think many members would appreciate if this was at least stated by Fizz.18

3G is not that bad. I remember old days when I use unused Rogers 3G data to watch youtube. It's watchable.14

Once I manually added the APN, I was back on 4G. Try it and see if that works for you.

@Timothy H, 4G is actually 3.5G not LTE. Right now, at least in my region we can only get HSPA+ (4G). This is better than 3G, but much slower than LTE. On an iPhone you would only see 3G indicated, but on many Android phones it will show 4G.12

Still on 3G (iphone) in the Gatineau area. No idea when LTE will be back since Fizz doesn't mention any timeframe11

Its one thing to have a network that is not working as advertised, but you should provide some updates for your customer base.

Yeah i have restarted the phone, no fix.
Just another note, anyone notice how many times you have to restart your phone with Fizz. On Rogers my phone never turned off for months.10 -
There's an update on the French network status page. Basically, we're stuck with the slower speeds until they release an update next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.11
