I just got it back, I was in Montreal when disconnected and now I am in Laval, not sure if location is a factor here though.23

Comes back on reboot for 2-3 minutes then disconnects.
On the bright side, the network speed is excellent for those two minutes23 -
Had the same issue. Since 15mins ago it's been all good now.24

I have Internet access through LTE and can make calls, but cannot receive calls! I'm in downtown Montreal right now.21

Rebooted my phone, network is available. I can use it for data, but calls and text are still dead. If I try to send a text or place a call, the network disconnects again.19

Outgoing calls and data working but incoming calls not working (gives recorded error message to try later) and SMS in / out does not work.
FWIW, Fizz, you need to get your act together. I just messaged my friends (one of whom has already ordered a Fizz SIM) not to activate with Fizz until network stability is improved. My wife just told me I should forget about saving money and cancel Fizz and go back to my old provider (Koodo).

I have an interesting issue i found. I had no service also today. But when i popped the sim into my android i had service.... i put it back into my iphone... no service...
So i've been using my android phone in the mean time and all is well. I just transfered it back to my iphone to check. and sure enough no service. did a network reset and still nothing... tried manually selecting the carrier and still nothing.
I wonder if the problem is more isolated to iphone...17 -

Really Fizz?!?!?! Twice in 2 weeks on a Friday? Guys get it together we don't want this to become a weekly occurrence. Should we expect a MMS outage this weekend also like last week? I left Fido's stable network on which I have been for years now to try you out and this is what I and many others like me get for trusting you and Videotron? Come on...16

There seems to be a network outage at the moment. Try it again when the network issues message disappears.16

@ Allison W.- So weird that my android gets service. i just double confirmed it now. I am in Ottawa. I just signed up for service yesterday... and already experiencing problems lol but thats ok....
@ Charlie D. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. This is a mobile service that allows to keep costs low while they get the bugs tweaked and working.
I was previously with Rogers for 10 years.. and Videotron for the last 2 months... and i hate Rogers and Videotron has great customer service on the phone but good luck walking into one of their stores and getting help!!! absolute nightmare...
And then i heard of Fizz... and honestly i would rather sacrifice service to start in order to get a decent plan. This is my personal number... and i still have a business line with videotron which i was going to swap over but i might wait until the network stabilizes.

@Bruce L. Your argument is very valid but those issues should have been ironed out during the beta period which I also took part of with a different number. I get that things might break from time to time but last Friday network was out all evening and part of the night and today it's been out again for hours. Major outages like this should not happen, specially if the company is an offshoot of Videotron who, from what I gather, has a very good network. Again, a few hiccups along the way are understandable, but not hours long major outages because they couldn't handle a network congestion or did not plan for a high influx of clients...14

@CharlieD the beta period is probably only good enough to get the network structure in place. Beta was invite only and therefore much more controlled. I agree these outages suck but the business plan is something I think worth a few bumps in the road. Let's be honest too, is not the end of the world to go back to another provider of you want, all you lose is the introductory offer prices from Fizz. I'll give them into the new year and see what's up then.6

Today’s glitch - stuck on 3G. Hard reset, resent network config, Reset network settings.
Rinse repeat. Nothing other than 3G.4
