Why the data usage is shown as way more than the actual?

Android user here, the day I popped in the SIM, android started keeping a track of my data usage. It is currently at 580mb~ as it has only been 8 days. Sounds reasonable.
I go to the Fizz usage dashboard, I see that I have used 2.8gb~.
I question myself if really did use 2gb - well I could not have, as my phone is mostly connected to wifi.
Any ideas? Where can we report this to?

The Fizz mobile data usage has been messed up for many people. I would not worry too much as long as you subscribe to the usage notifications which will tell you when you have surpassed a certain usage.

There seems to be at least one known bug with the data usage meter. Set up your phone to keep track yourself for now. I'm sure they're working on it (among other bugs).

For some people it remains at 0 even though they are using data at a non-zero amount. For me, knock on wood, it is at the right amount (from what I can approximate).
