Hi all, I inserted my SIM card, and updated my carrier settings to Fizz 34.1.
I restored the APN settings to default , which are the correct ones, and I still am stuck to "No Service".
What can I do ? I'm on an iPhone 6.
Thank you all !
EDIT : Yes, my phone is indeed unlocked.

Sometimes it takes a few hours for the service to work. Be patient and see what happens in a few hours! If you clicked update when the message box appeared on your iPhone after inserting the SIM card, you should be fine.
Good luck, hope this helps!9 -
Hi, I borrowed my father's SIM card, which was already activated and in use, while I wait for my SIM card to arrive. I just wanted to test everything and make sure it worked flawlessly with my phone before porting my number to Fizz once I get my SIM card. I'll leave the SIM card in my phone overnight and we will see. Thank you and I will keep you updated !10

So it seems like I get service, but only for one minute. After one minute, it goes back to "No Service".10

Hey Gabriel,
Your sim card could still be activating, give it at least 12hs, Reboot your iPhone and try again would be my best suggestion, if the problem persists, might have to chat with them
Cheers

Hi Samuel, like I said, it is my father's SIM card, it worked flawlessly in his phone when I took it out. My phone is unlocked, I went through various carriers since I've had it. But Fizz seems to be giving me difficulties.
It worked great for 15 minutes but just went back to "No Service".10 -
Hey Gabriel,
Ahhh now i see what you mean, Can you try resetting your Network Settings ? (This may wipe any wifi passwords you may have)
Can you also check if you may have any old profiles from any old providers on your iPhone? https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT205347
Can you check if you have any software updates of any sort? and my final resort would be test with another device?
Cheers!

I had already checked for previous profiles, but there are none and already reset my network settings, without success. I'll try with another device when possible.10

Hey Gabriel,
Yep, alright well let us know! You can always reaching out to Fizz via messenger but doubt they will do much. Can you possibly reach out to Apple for extra Assistance?
Let me know if you got any questions or if theres any movement on the case.9 -
Hey Gab,
Sorry to read some of the issues you're having getting service on your phone. If your father's line is active and working, I doubt there is anything we can do on our end but by going through some troubleshooting steps - which I've seen you've already done. Can you run through these troubleshooting tips and see if anything gives: https://www.payetteforward.com/my-iphone-says-no-service-heres-the-real-fix/
