Information for new members

For those who are new to the forum, welcome!!

I noticed that there were more duplicate posts than usual this morning from new Fizz forum members. I expect this is because newbies do not know about the 10 day moderation period and think their post didn't go through.

It would be helpful if upon joining the forum, there was better information about the moderation period, and also if the moderators could remove (or not post) the duplicate posts without penalty to the new folks.

    A simple message when posting that the post will not be visible right now should fix it, I agreed something should be done, I remember when I was new and ignoring it…

    There is already a warning message, except it isn't very visible.

    Thanks, I'm not new here but was noticing that more newbies than usual were posting extra messages this morning.

    I think when someone is in the moderation period it could be a good opportunity, if not too much of a burden for the moderators, to let new folks know why their messages aren't showing up immediately and also to inform them of the proper location to post their code if they post it on the wrong spot.
