    This member cannot receive gifts because they do not have a mobile data plan.

    Why do so many people with no data plans not know they can't receive data gifts unless they have a plan that includes some data?

    I suggest signing up for a 1 GB plan outside of Québec, which starts at $13/month, or a 2 GB plan in Québec, which starts at $15/month! These plans, and any plan with GBs of data, allow you to receive data gifting. Those who want to save $1/month can choose provincial coverage instead of Canadian coverage. (Since I travel between provinces, I have Canadian coverage.)

    It's something that I think Fizz could make clearer. Right now, Fizzers have to read the fine print to find out that the 0 GB plan is not eligible for data gifting, whether sent or received. One way that Fizz could clarify this is by adding an "eligible for data gifting" message when selecting a plan. The message disappears (or is crossed out) when the 0 GB plan is selected, but shows up when 1 GB or more is selected.

    Another point of confusion is that while data gifting is not available with the 0 GB plan, data rollover is available, as I understand it. I've noticed that the 250 MB perk that applies during the second month, or 500 MB for those who are very efficient, is valid for 90 days. It's data gifting that is unavailable, sadly.
