    Security updates are rolled out directly by Motorola rather than the carrier. Since Fizz relies on a partner network and operates as a flanker brand, they don't block updates. If you are missing a patch, it means Motorola hasn't pushed the update to your specific device model or Canadian channel yet.

    To force a check:

    • Turn off your phone and temporarily remove your SIM card.

    • Restart the phone on Wi-Fi and navigate to Settings > System > System updates.

    • Reinsert your SIM card once finished.

    Hey, also check if your phone is set to do updates only via Wi-Fi, and if you're still on mobile data, they won't happen.
