I’ve been trying to set a custom ringtone on my iPhone 17, but I’m stuck with the default sound. Not sure what I’m missing—any help would be appreciated!

    From google:
"To set a custom ringtone on an iPhone 17 (iOS 17+), ensure your audio file is 30 seconds or less. Save the file to the Files app, then long-press it, select Share, and choose "Use as Ringtone". Alternatively, use GarageBand to create, export, and apply custom tones.

Method 1: Using the Files App (Easiest)
Download/Prepare: Download an M4R or MP3 file (under 30s) in Safari or move it to your Files app.
Locate File: Open the Files app and find the audio file.
Share: Long-press the file and tap Share.
Set: Scroll to select "Use as Ringtone". If not visible, tap "More" to find the option.
Confirm: The tone will now be listed in your Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone.

Method 2: Using GarageBand (For Custom Editing)
Open GarageBand: Select the "Audio Recorder" (microphone icon).
Track View: Tap the Track View icon (leftmost icon top left).
Import Song: Tap the Loop Browser icon (top right), select "Files," and drag your song into the timeline.
Trim: Tap the audio track to trim to under 30 seconds.
Export: Tap the down arrow (top left) > My Songs.
Use as Ringtone: Long-press your song > Share > Ringtone

Open the Contacts app on your iPhone. Select a contact, tap Edit, tap Ringtone, then choose a ringtone.
