Hi,
I'm considering switching to Fizz, but I often travel to a rural area that is covered by a 4G (LTE) network, not the 5G, and I'm wondering what the connectivity will be like. I see that you have a 15 day trial, but it seems that it would only be for the 5G network? Why doesn't it apply to the 4G? Can you guarantee that Fizz would connect as well as my current provider (Public Mobile) to the 4G network (the area shows as being covered in your coverage map)?
Thanks,
Erika

Hi @Jupiter_girl
No guarantee that Fizz will connect to the Telus towers you are used to with Pubic Mobile.
The nice thing about Fizz is there are no contracts.
Try it out and see how it goes.
My experience in rural Manitoba is that Fizz works as well as my two friends who are on the other two major networks.
Cheers,

A 5g plan will connect to 4g.
Check the coverage map for the specific area.
there's a good chance it'll work.I have a 5g plan in a 4g area.

I have only LTE (4G) in my plan and it work perfectly. During your trial you can force your phone to connect to LTE (4G) only. It's in the setting of your phone depending if you have Apple or Android. You can Google that easily.
