The best Bakery in GTA

I often think about the old days I spent in my home country, where there was always plenty of fresh, warm bread. In Toronto, I know there are some stores that sell freshly baked bread, but I’ve never been to them. So I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I totally get that feeling. Nothing beats fresh, warm bread that reminds you of home 😊
Monte Bakery and Serano are great picks. I’d also suggest trying St. Phillips Bakery in Etobicoke if you’re ever nearby. Their Portuguese buns and fresh loaves are amazing straight out of the oven.
If you’re exploring different spots around the GTA, it might be fun to make a little weekend bakery tour list and just go taste-testing. Click Here to check local reviews and opening hours before heading out so you don’t miss the fresh batches.

San Remo is adequate, near Humber Bay west of Downtown. Sandwiches are good, sometimes a bit dry, and the baked goods, the apple fritters are quite good. However, I do love their seasonal blueberry and strawberry fritters, but they sell out realy quick!!!
