Switching to new provider and keeping rewards
I would like to try out PM and keep my current number.
Before I transfer providers is there an option to change back to Fizz (if I'm not happy with PM) and keep my existing account/rewards?
I have quite a lot of data rolled over and I don't want to lose it if decide to come back to Fizz.

I think perks that aren't bound to a specific plan would keep in your account as long as you don't delete the account and the perks don't expire,
But you'll definitely lose any plan discounts, rates and data when you port out the number and deactivate plan.0 -
Hi, I don't think it's possible to remove the number and put it elsewhere without losing the plan. You can only change the number with a fee.
You can keep the basic service to keep your bonuses, etc., but for the mobile plan, you'll need to choose a new one if you transfer your number.

Alternatively, you can activate a new temporary plan to hold in your account at the lowest possible Fizz price level, while trying out the other carrier with your primary phone number.You definitely lose your current price plan and have to resubscribe with your primary number at current Fizz price levels when you decide to come back.

I think you will lose your perks if you port out and then decide to return to Fizz. What you could do is get a temporary number from Public Mobile and test it out for a bit. Then, if you're happy with Public Mobile, transfer your Fizz number to your Public Mobile account.

You can't come back at the same plan. You need to chose one available at that time.
