Im not sure how dose it work but for new customers if the plan with 30gb and more it’s 5g if its less than 30gb plan will be LTE , mine is 25 gb, and its fast enough for me i don’t know how fast it will be with 5g.

Yeah you need a new number unfortunately because discovery implies that it's just for new installations

You need assign a new number to get the 5g discovery plan.

It might be worth it to cancel and port out and back.
NOTE: other companies DON'T give you a free trial.
I saved about $20 doing it, hardly worth it but I thought other companies would give a pro-rated refund (they don't).0 -
