Plan changes are taking effect starting with the new billing cycle.

You need to wait until the new billing cycle starts.

Under your mobile plan, you can manage your upgrades.
If you don't have an unused slot, you'll have to replaced a used upgrade in order to apply the new one. Once you do that, the upgrade should say pending until your next billing cycle when it becomes active.1 -
