Does call forwarding reset if you change plans or upgrade Android?

    No, call forwarding should not be automatically reset if you change your plan, as it is managed by your carrier, not your phone.

    It also won’t reset if you upgrade Android.

    After an Android update, check the call forwarding setting in your Phone app to make sure it's still enabled. If it isn't, you can either re-enable it in your phone's settings.

    No, but you need to have minutes in your plan (or wallet)

    The answer is not, I was in Europe in September and my phone upgraded to a new Android version. My Call forwarding was not affected.
