Are pawn shops in Canada safe?
I recently found out that a few places I’ve often walked past are actually pawn shops — I didn’t realize it until recently.

like, if I buy something from there, it is totally mine, and I don't have to worry about returning it to the police someday, right? 😂

like, if I buy something from there, it is totally mine, and I don't have to worry about returning it to the police someday, right? 😂

I don't shop with pawn shop.

It safe more or less and unlikely to ever have the cops visit you for something you bought there. But just because you paid for it doesn't mean you get to keep it if it's stolen and the cops do come for it. You won't be charged with anything and the store would most likely refund it.
