PSA: 1GB DATA for several countries PERK does not work in Switzerland or Germany

Switzerland is not in the list of supported countries, but Germany is.
In Germany, Fizz connects to the network 'o2 - de' but does not pass calls, text, or data.

Frustratingly, Fizz support has no awareness of this issue (replicated on two customer accounts) and went through their checklist of 'fixes' such as resetting your phone.

If you are in Switzerland or Germany, save yourself the hassle and look for an alternate eSIM.

The 1GB PERK did work in FRANCE. It worked successfully with the SFR network. Unfortunately, when near the border it would 'prefer' the O2 network and fail.

The issue with O2 in Germany occurred during September.

    Try to manually select vodafone.de when in Germany. I remember a few months back, for some reason, it kept switching back and forth between those two as to what network would "work".
