Use CODA5814Q as an access point?
Would it be possible to use my CODA5814Q as a Wi-Fi access point as if it's two devices (modem and router)? In bridge mode, the Wi-Fi capability is gone.
My previous ISP had only a modem in bridge mode. My router was handling DHCP LAN/WAN . I have other access point connected (wired) to this router to extend the network. I am wondering if I could extend the network using the CODA5814Q and have the IP given by my main router.
The problem is that even if my SSID/PW on CODA5814Q is the same as on my other routers, it is a separate WAN/LAN that do not communicate between them. Or is there a way to make them connect?

Hi, yes brige mode desable Wifi. Probably not possible with this.
More complexe:
Another solution: configuration as an access point If you do not want to use bridge mode, you can:Disable DHCP on the CODA5814Q.
Assign a static IP in the same subnet as your main router.
Disable NAT and the firewall if possible.
Keep the Wi-Fi active, with the same SSID/password as your other access points.
This allows the CODA5814Q to function as a Wi-Fi access point, without creating a separate network.
Please get back to us if you try it and let us know if it works.
