Yes you can change your plan ( don't unsubscribe ).
Go to My plan ( left of your screen ) and then Manage my Plan ( green button on the right of your screeen ) and then Change my plan ( left of your screen ) and then Customize my plan and then remove Data by clicking on - until it goes to zero

It you only want to remove the data on your plan, yes you can do it too
However, there is a freezing period of 108h hours (4.5 days) before the next billing cycle.
