Notification show in French even though settings and browser set to English

Today just seems to be that kind of day for me..
Here's another question / concern i have which i haven't posted about in a while but i wanted to address today.
I have my account communication set to English.
However, when i log into my account and click on the bell icon, the notifications i see are always in French.
My browser is also showing english language on top and the whole website shows english but the notifications are in french. Is this a glitch in the system or am i the only one having this issue?

last night i also ported a line into my account and after it had completed transferring in, i got a message from fizz in french that it was complete.I think there is some glitch in the system.
Most people do not reply to an english question in french (at least not in my experience)

You are right . People have to use the langage of the section where they are writing. But when the messages are resumed for the Activity feed or Notifications sections They are published in the langage used when they were written. Il am sorry but I'm not able to send a more big picture. Look by yourself by clicking on the bell.

I'm not referring to forum messages. I'm referring to the messages i get on my account from fizz. They shouldn't be in french language if my communication is setup for English.

I'm just surprised not many people have this issue.
Fizz is saving all the issues for me today.0 -
This sometimes happens to me as well, but don't see what the big deal is. I mean, you have to be aware that you are subscribing to a Québécoise company with a service originally offered only to Québec and Ottawa and only recently extended to other parts of Canada. Also, with any browser these days, it takes like two clicks to translate a web page into English.

This is because the Whizzes make an effort to keep English and French conversations on the respective side of the forum. In that they will move conversations when users accidentally open them in the other language

@naveed You need set the notification language: https://forum.fizz.ca/en/profile/preferences/

I realize its a company from a french speaking province but still i didn't expect this.
i can translate from google but its annoying to have to see french when i prefer it not to be in that language.0 -
