Can't gift data to lines in my account

I ported a new line into Fizz today. Rather than port to a different account i decided to just add a line to my existing account as it is easier to manage. But when i try to gift data to this line, it is not allowing me. It says that i have to gift to a different member not myself.
I updated my settings to now say that member perks go to the new line and then tried and still fails.
Can someone please help? I read in forums before that gifting between lines on same account is possible which is primarily why i moved to fizz.

So go to your Plans Tab, select the phone number with 30GB -> click Gift -> I know the person -> enter the phone number of your spouse -> Choose the amount -> Next -> Next -> Send0

I remember seeing the same error when I first subscribed. Even stated as such in the forum, only to be corrected by other forum members. Eventually, I tried again and found, it is indeed possible to gift yourself. You have to select "I know the person" and then enter your own (destination) phone number. Given my own experience, maybe it takes some time period after adding a 2nd subscription before this option becomes available.
I can confirm though that it is currently working, at least in my account.0 -
I have been using the same method that you described and it fails.
I also updated my settings to allow member perks to go to the second line and it still fails.
I unfortunately didn't sign up with the other line with a lot of data so this "delay" is causing anxiety for my spouse as she is often on the road.i have posted on data gifting group for some data in interim.

If your second line has a data plan, you can gift data (from your current month) using the phone number (it is the only way)
You can ask data using the referral code, however, this it will go to the first plan, and you cannot change it easily, the only way is to remove the data plan for a month to the first plan0 -
I have data plan on both.
First line has more data and the second line has only 1 GB. Plan was always to share data between lines.I don't want to manipulate data on my main line because the price difference now is a lot. I was able to get a $30 for 20 GB CA /US data. Now that doesn't exist. Closest is $36 for 15 GB CA/US.
It would also be great if there was an automatic setting in each account to setup recurring data sharing between lines.

At the moment, you can only do it manually using her phone number.

To transfer data to another line, you must use your phone number rather than the referral code.
Your new line's plan must also include data.

Here are my steps to gift data
1) under my plan i find the second line
2) i click on gift
3) i choose "i know the person"
4) I enter the fizz phone number i just ported in
5) I click nextI get an error saying i have to choose another member that's not me.
My original line has 30 GB of US/CA data. New line that i'm sending data to is setup with 1 GB of Ca/US data.

If you have multiple plans, at least my list is actually sorted from newest to oldest plan. I.e., the original plan would be at the bottom (the 2nd plan) and the new plan at the top (1st plan).

Hello @naveed. Did you manage to gift data between your 2 phone numbers?
