Discovery Plan
I just transferred my number to Fizz today with the 6 month discovery discount, then I realized I chose Provincial coverage instead of national wide coverage, so I'm looking to change my plan to national wide coverage starting next bill cycle (September 25th). My question is for the next bill cycle, will the 6 month discovery discount still apply to my account? I asked online customer service, he said the discount only for new customers, so if I change my plan the discount won't stay, I will be billed at $25/month (Alberta). I found it's confusing since it's not written anywhere on the website.
another question, for Alberta account, does the tax stay at 5%? The reason I'm asking is when I choose $12.5 discovery plan, it shows after tax will be $14.12 which is not 5% tax.

A Discovery discount may apply to any new mobile plan activated in an eligible region.
The discount is automatically applied each month on the current price of your plan, for six (6) months, starting from the day your SIM card is activated.
If you change your plan during this period, the discount will follow your new plan for the remaining months.

The tax seems to come out at exactly 13% which is the HST for Ontario. Did you change the province to Alberta on the website before subscribing? Is your billing address and area code also both in AB? Then check what you are actually paying or have paid for your first month. If that is also wrong, complain...
