preowned Moto G received with no charger block

I purchased a pre-owned moto g from FIZZ and it arrived and works great however there is no charger, just a usb c cable. I don't have anything to plug it into... is this as designed?

    the new phones are delivered without the charger block, therefore, is pretty standard nowadays.
    This was introduced by the EC at beginning

    Use a USB port from your computer while you find a friend or family member that has a cacth-all drawer full of old chargers. Or check thrift stores like Value Village, Renaissance, Salvation Army, etc.

    For several years now, chargers have no longer been supplied with cell phones.

    Since it's an cheap phone, they ignored the charger to save cost.
