texting to the US

If the plan I get is Ontario, is texting to/from the US included?

    I thought you can only send to texts to your coverage and you can receive texts from anywhere. Am I wrong?

    When you are on your coverage and if you have unlimited texts yes you can send texts everywhere in the world
    The incoming is free also if you are in Europe,China etc

    Yes, and Elena is right. Price for sending texts from your coverage area does not depend on the destination of the message. It will all be the same price, free if you have unlimited texting in your plan, 5c per text if you don't.

    But that does mean he cannot send messages from the US if his coverage plan is Ontario, right?

    Sending texts from the US would not be included in unlimited texting if the coverage area is Ontario, that is correct. However, you can still use travel addon or the wallet at 2c per text (as of Jun 21).
