New phone not showing under "My phones"

I got a new phone over a month ago -- I wasn't able to purchase it through Fizz as I kept getting an error on the site -- so I ended up buying an unlocked one elsewhere. My old Sim card is in there, and it works perfectly fine, though my Fizz account still shows my old phone and I don't see a way to update it. How can I fix this?

I don't think you can. I can confirm that it often takes a long time for Fizz to "detect" a new IMEI number (and thus phone), especially when you use "weird" hardware, in my case an LTE laptop plug-in module. So, one of my SIM cards is also showing an incorrect phone and has for weeks. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the same problem. My phone never shows up. I've tried several phones that show up fine but my samsung a15 never shows up even after about 6 months. Its a Canadian model but service works fine so I just ignored it.

Is there a chance that it may become an issue when 3G is turned off?

My current phone is VOLTE-compatible but my old non-whitelisted phone is the one showing up in My Phones.

No, you will not be affected, it is a GUI information for use, useful if you are loosing your phone and you want to block it
