What is my perk coverage if I upgrade my plan coverage area?

Hi, I received my mobile data perk while I was on my provincial (ON) plan. If I upgrade my plan to Canada or Canada+USA and then apply my data perk, will that data perk cover provincial only or will it match my new plan coverage area?

    double check the email in which fizz mentioned the perk. i deleted my but i think it may have said the perk was only valid for canada and not in the us even if you had can/us plans

    Yes, your perk will match your new coverage area.

    These are the terms from the email:

    An active Fizz account is required. My Rewards perks are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred. The conditions of the My Rewards program apply. 50 GB of free mobile data: Each of these five (5) My Rewards perks is valid for 10 GB of mobile data in your province or Canada, based on the coverage in your mobile plan. If you have the Canada-U.S. coverage, these perks can only be used in Canada. These My Rewards perks will be available for 150 days and must be activated on your current mobile plan in your current Fizz account before they expire. Once one of these perks is activated on your plan, you will have 30 days to use it and the mobile data you consume will not be deducted from your plan.

    Just checked my email. The perk goes up to Canada-wide only, not Canada+USA. Good to know thanks!
