eSIM or Physical SIM? Which should I choose for new activation with iPhone 11?

Hi. It's great to see that we can now select the free eSIM option. Can anyone recommend whether I should choose the physical SIM or the eSIM? Not sure benefits of either. Thanks in advance for your comments

An eSIM is free-of-charge and allows you to activate new new mobile plan instantly. However, it typically requires support from the carrier to move the plan from one phone to another phone once the plan is active.
A physical SIM you have to buy from either the carrier directly or one of their distributors. Depending on how quickly you can get your hands on the SIM card, you may be looking at a couple of days delay before you can activate your plan. However, once active, you can move the plan between phones as often as you want to without requiring any support or consent from the carrier.

I went for the physical SIM. I didn't know whether my phone was compatible with an ESIM at the time. Now I know that it is compatible. If you want to save money and your phone is compatible with ESIM, then go for that.

E-SIM is the best because it is not a mobile part, but if you change your phone often then perhaps the SIM would be more practical.Don't forget that to activate an e-SIM you need a Wi-Fi network.
