Due to the frequency problem of volte, many mobile phones can no longer be used. How can I check whether the latest models of opoo vivo mobile phones can use fizZ to make calls and send text messages?

These phones are not designed for the North American market. And while they most likely work to some extend, you may encounter missing VoLTE voice calls support as well as limited coverage with such phones on North American carriers.

If you all have the phone, by all means, try it out and see if you are happy with it. If you are thinking about buying new, you may be better off with phones designed for North America which exist in all price categories.

Phones that fully work in both North America as well as overseas don't exist in the low price segment and are hard to find even in the mid price range.

    Hi @joeyleee888
They are not in the list, therefore, most probably they will not work https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices#3

You can always try, however, there is no guarantee that an update will break this compatibility

The best way to confirm whether your phone is VoLTE-compatible at Fizz is, once your Fizz mobile plan is activated, to make a call by dialling #TEST (#8378) on your mobile phone while at home.

Hi probably only text and Internet work with this phone. Update to last update and test with #8378. If lte stay when you call it s work Volte.

The latest models should be good, but you can make sure to test it with #8378.
