Billing date before the activation date

Hi,

I signed up for the internet plan on May 17th and I saw a billing transaction on my credit card on the same day (May 17th) however I don't have the internet service yet (the installation and activation date is set to start on June 2nd). Is it normal that I'm billed on May 17th instead of June 2nd? Thanks

This is normal

Good to know: Your first monthly payment will be charged to your credit card when you subscribe. Your monthly payment cycle, on the other hand, will begin with the activation of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem.

Yes, you'll be charged when you order it. The next billing transaction is on your bill cycle date.
