VoLTE compatibility

We have 2 cells (Samsung Note 9 and Samsung Galaxy S8) and according to the message from Fizz they are not compatible. What are our options? How can we order the free VoLTE compatible sim? It is not in the perks section.

    The SIM cards are easy to check, they must have a red lightning symbol printed on them to be compatible.

    Once you have the right SIM card, dial number #8378, including the hash symbol, to verify if your phones are compatible with Fizz' VoLTE service.

    They may not be, as they are 5+ years old and they are not on Fizz' list.

    If they are not compatible, wait and see what Fizz is going to do, until it actually becomes a problem.

    While both the Note 9 and S8 support VoLTE in general, Fizz requires specific certification for VoLTE functionality on its network. This certification involves technical and commercial agreements between the phone manufacturer and the carrier. Without this certification, even VoLTE-capable phones may not function correctly on Fizz's VoLTE network.

    To confirm if your phone is VoLTE-compatible with Fizz:​

    Dial #TEST (#8378) from your Fizz-connected phone.
    
    If the call connects and you hear a confirmation message, your phone is VoLTE-compatible.
    
    If not, your device isn't compatible, and you'll need to consider alternatives. ​

    You have to make sure both the sim and the phone are VoLTE compatible
