Gifting data

Hi everyone, I like to gift when I have extra GBs. So today as I tried to gift to 6 different accounts, 5 of them stated that I couldn't because the person did not have data. Isn't that the whole point of gifting? (I did succeed in gifting to one person.)

    Plans with on data plan at all cannot receive data as gifts, that's in the terms.

    For most provinces cheapest plan now also include data so that shouldn't be an issue for anyone who'll switch to any plan - they might even save some money.

    Hello, same here.

    I tried to gift some data between my own plans and got an error that "there's no data plan...". All my plans have data.

    I guess there is a new bug in their system. I opened a ticket but there's no progress there, most probably because of the weekend.
