Trying to add a second line.

I tried to add a second line to my account a while ago, and my wife wasn't sure about going ahead with it. Her phone bill with FIDO has gone up to $32.50/month and she is finally willing to give FIZZ a try.
I created a second line and she has her own account. Looking at the account she created, it has been active for 6 months already. It shows my phone number.
I'm not sure of the procedure at this point.
I'm not paying anything extra.
Do I order another SIM card and activate it? I mean, I know I'll need another SIM card for her phone. We also want to port her number from FIDO to FIZZ.
So many very specific questions for a more than average complicated situation.

Consider opening a new account for here, in this way you can use your referral code and get 35$ on each account at her second payment
If she has a phone supporting the eSIM, she can get the eSIM (which is free), check the list here
Also, check if her phone is VoLTE certified by Fizz
this is importantIf the phone doesn't support the eSIM, yes you need to buy a SIM online or on participating Stores

Hi, I don't see why you say it's complicated. If I understood correctly:
You each have an account, you want to port a number from a different provider to her account. You will likely need a Sim card, I don't think it matters which account orders it. When you have the Sim card you can port the number via her account, just mind you need to have her line active with the previous provider during transfer so do not cancel it or anything. Standard procedure.

Be aware that an incoming number port is only possible with a new activation at Fizz.
Also, regarding esim, Fizz can currently only generate esim profiles with new activations. Which means, for the time being, you won't be able to transfer an active physical sim to an esim nor can you transfer an active esim plan to another phone without switching to a replacement physical sim card.
I'm sure, Fizz will eventually be able to do replacement esim profiles, however, for the time being, especially if you foresee a change of phone for your wife in the short or medium term, you may want to opt for a physical sim.
