Hiya- I have had this new home my American father gave me since Christmas. How long until I can get an eSim on my long standing number without porting it away? Please please please please? I have to haul haul around my broken phone with SIM card to connect my new one. Why can’t I port my number yet? This is ridiculous! Please fix this fizz! We need sim to eSim!!! Everyone else has it…

    Hi @Fractalfoot

As of December 2024, Fizz introduced eSIM support for new mobile plan activations. Existing customers, like yourself, seeking to switch from a physical SIM to an eSIM have been informed that this feature will be available in the near future.

At the moment, is not available

This is something, I am confident, Fizz is working on. Expecting to see it in the not too distant future.

Unfortunately, existing customers like yourself wanting to transfer from a physical SIM to an eSIM have to wait a bit longer.

Fizz has indicated that this feature will become available in the future, though they haven't provided a precise timeline yet.

    Hi @Fractalfoot

Others have reported success porting their Fizz number to another carrier that permits sim to eSIM porting and then port over to fizz. Not ideal, but a solution if you are desperate.

Before doing so, make sure your phone is certified by Fizz.

    Cheers,

    Brad

I agree with you. The reason I stick with Fizz is that my old plan is amazing. If I have to get a new plan because they refuse to update to not-so-new technology, I’d rather switch provider altogether.
